What is the Energy Saving Certificate for your car?

When you swap your petrol, diesel or LPG car for a 100% electric car, you generate energy savings that are converted into Energy Saving Certificates (CAE). Each CAE represents a portion of those savings. These CAEs can be sold to energy companies that are required to save energy. How the process works

Vehicle data transmission

Send us the details of your new vehicle and the vehicle you are replacing (or of your fleet). We will check if it meets the minimum requirements for age and fuel type.

Documentation review

Gather the necessary documentation: invoices, technical specifications, vehicle registration documents and certificates of de-registration or change of ownership, where applicable.

CAE Management

Lersa Energía manages the certificate in collaboration with authorised agents, quantifying the energy savings achieved and registering the corresponding CAE.

Income

The financial benefit applies: either a discount on the transaction or a direct payment, depending on the arrangement agreed with the energy company or the concessionaire.
